VALON is a prominent brand in Kenya as good as NIVEA in India. Brief was to change the full Brand Identity and bring in the new Identity retaining the same brand philosophy targeting the same set of consumer segment as well as adding the new generation in the pool. Brand loyalty is very important and key for sustainability of the business. Project was combined with packaging structure design too. Several new ideas were explored but the old visual identity was so strong in consumers mind – it was difficult to move away drastically from the visual language of the existing brand identity. We did careful upliftment of the existing brand when the brand team was also on board for a conscious call. Took longer time than usual for the complete development as decision making time was a bit stretched and multiple management partners were involved. We have extended the support till end – even making TVC with new package renders with new identity.
