Eveready Lantern Torch : Eveready Industries India Ltd.

Very first product design project for Eveready Industries which won the CII Design Excellence Award. We have done basic research for user and market segment to understand the usage pattern and user need, where we found that many mechanics and even user are using this product as special usage or emergency usage where user has to hold a torch light between the shoulder and head or even sometime by mouth as both hands are busy in doing some tasks. The concept of lantern came from multi-tasking usage of the product.Regular usage of the normal search light or torch light was reducing drastically because of availability of electric supply everywhere. This product is now for special application and emergency usage. We did the project from concept sketch to release of the 3D files and drawing for tooling / injection molding and assembly.
