GRAPHIC DESIGN

Graphic Design by profession looks very simple just because there are many who just use the tools/software to design “graphics”! It is much more beyond that and should not be underestimated at all. It is an integrated part of Visual Communication Design where the brand is being expressed or presented to the target audiences. We do this as an extension of Brand Design Projects or as a retainership project with Brands which are having some guidelines or principles to design graphics for them.

DESIGN FOR BRAND CONNECT

Each piece of Graphic Design we do is to make it meaningful for the audience targeted. It is more like storytelling through a piece of graphics that can be seen for a few seconds and must have a stopping power to catch the attention to see further or go deeper and motivate the viewer to explore or know more. Graphics must be good-looking for sure, but they should not lose their core objective or purpose to be there. It should be able to connect and build a reputation of the brand as well as encourage to have faith in the Brand with the promise made through the piece of visual art – Graphic Design.

ARTWORK FOR IMPLEMENTATION

We generally work on the notional design to get the idea clear and approval of the management. Once we have the feedback – we compose everything including all contents/text, and headline images. We expect to have all contents – text & images be given to us by the brand team. If those are not available – we can do the content development as well as photography as required. Content Development & Photography are separate assignments that can be taken up as separate assignments. We finalize the design and release artwork for prints in CMYK & defining Pantone for all special or brand-specific colors. Also, in RGB for digital applications.

SAMPLING & EXECUTION

There will be always some difference between the computer screen and the physical piece you hold. The screen can give you a glamourous look in colours and composition, but the physical look may look different which may need tweak depending upon the substrate, printer, and colours. We do that adjustment before we release artwork for final printing or digital screen play for TVC. We are uncompromising in nature for any difference in output – as a creative team, we expect the best output as we have visualized in design. Sampling and testing play a big role in that. If needed, we take complete responsibility for production which is being done by our selective partners in Kolkata & Mumbai.
