MTS Packaging Design Strategy, Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited

One of its kind design strategy projects where packaging was given huge importance for building the brand. We have done the research of their current set of product line, packaging varieties along with product diversity. Target was to bring in the consistence across the product line offered and to increase the perceived value of the product to build the brand image. Initially we started with packaging graphics to bring in the consistency in visual language usage, colour usage, visual balance, design signature and above all uniqueness to build the “pick me up appeal” in the pack itself. Later on we moved for packaging structure design innovation with usage of multiple materials and hybrid structure which are totally new in this segment. We did designs for top end models to base/mass models (products). We have done full scale prototyping too with sheet metal to have a clear feel of the packaging for premium ranges. Project ended with Packaging Design Guideline with all the design specifications and desired design quality in the form of high quality 3D renderings.
